Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to explain why Afro-American women ar treated differently/unfairly when experiencing workplace variety as opposed to the status quo representatives of women-White women and representatives of the Negro/black race-African-American men. This comparison psychoanalysis will bring to light the disparities faced by African-American women, from all socioeconomic backgrounds, in the workforce. The criteria used to analyze the real-life narratives argon based on Tzvetan Todorovs, a Bulgarian literary theorist, paradigm.

What is Intersectionality?
The multidimensionality of African-American/Black womens experiences are erased in the conceptualization, identification and remediation of race and sex discrimination by limiting interrogative to the experiences of otherwise-privileged members of the group. In race discrimination cases, discrimination tends to be viewed in terms of sex- or class-privileged Blacks (African-American/Black men); in sex discrimination cases, focus is on race- and class-privileged women (European/White women).



Women and men perceive versed harassment differently; African American women view internal harassment differently from white women (Richardson & Taylor, 2009, p. 251). According to Chen, sexual harassment is often experienced alongside racial discrimination. It may be rooted in a history of racism, and acted stunned within workplace power structures (Taylor & Richardson, 2006).
