I attended the Michael C. Carlos Museum. It is an submit that displays really extravagant and stunning relics and continue goods. I attended the museum on Tuesday 11/27/12. maculation I was at the museum, I attended to very germane(predicate) and interesting exhibits. I visited the Roman and Greek exhibit which had very life like sculptures. I also visited the Egyptian exhibit that had very well painted sarcophagi and different amulets and treasures that were definitely expenditure staring at with great delight. This museum is located at Emory University. Emory University hosts this museum all second, these buildings are fuel each other.
Each Exhibit had a bus of different themes. There were hundreds of artifacts in all of the place so that it could support the theme correctly. Each of the exhibits had themes such as: Burial artifacts, everyday living objects, working tools, and a lot of weaponry. The theme of the event was definitely to get people of at onces world to marinate in the presence of such worthy and important things from the past. The people that fund the research to mold artifacts and tombs etc want to show others how important these types of things are.
Classes teach about news report and the people that lived in earlier times. When you walk in the museum, you take in proof of those people you learn about. People usually skepticism the existence of ancient people until they get to
see things blow dated from the time. I was one of those people and that was the theme of the museum, to install that there were people who existed thousands of years before us.
In the Egyptian Exhibit, There were many things that caught my eye and definitely surprised me. In class, you see the process of mummification and learn the process, but see the end result thousands of years later is definitely remarkable. Until this day, I see never seen a dead body.
